Kitchen in the Grove
IL Fiorello’s Kitchen in the Grove hosts a variety of culinary classes.
Classes include both demonstrations and hands on work. You’ll enjoy watching techniques and creating your own masterpieces. At IL Fiorello, we eat together, laugh together, and enjoy food and wine pairings together.
Classes are by reservation only. See our calendar for upcoming classes and reserve a seat online.
Please note: We offer a 100% refund or exchange of class fees if canceled a minimum of 72 hours in advance of the event. Within 72 hours of an event, refunds or exchanges are not available, but you are welcome to transfer your seat to a friend.

This class honors spring greens with a traditional French soup au Pistou. To honor Pi day (March 14) the class will learn how to make a traditional Irish Shepherd’s pie. For dessert, we will present a sweet and fantastic Irish Bar treat.
It is strawberry time in California and we will celebrate with a Strawberry Picnic class. Tasty delights to bring with you on a picnic. Possibly even a wood fired strawberry dessert pizza.
Suisun valley is known for its fruits. We will be grilling fruit, smoking fruit, candying fruit and eating it all. Maybe a berry-apricot trifle is in your future.
Zucchini and corn are ready to enjoy. Learn something more than how to grill corn – try corn with a spicy attitude. Pan seared stuffed squash blossoms and a very cool zucchini and squash salad.
It is tomato time and we will enjoy our organic garden tomatoes all 20 varieties – fresh, sauté, encrusted, blended and preserved. Nothing better. Homemade Bloody Mary’s anyone?
Figs, a true fall treasure. We have 30 fig trees at IL Fiorello with 6 different varieties. We will eat figs, fresh with mascarpone cheese, candied figs in an old Italian method and maybe if we are lucky a fig and prosciutto pizza.
The 6th annual great pumpkin class. Pies tarts, soups, main courses, you never really know what our Chefs will do with a jack o’ lantern. All orange and very delicious. You will eat your way to Halloween heaven.
Fun with Fungi. A mushroom class. Mushroom tarts, mushroom pizzas, mushroom soup and for sure a decadent mushroom dessert. Learn about foraging and different types of mushrooms.
At the Farm at IL Fiorello, we have 6 prolific pomegranate trees. We will learn how to de-seed the jewels and make juice without making a hug mess. Pomegranate molasses anyone? A sweet dessert with be accompanied by a flaming Christmas beverage. Merry Christmas to all.
