So, save the date May 15, a Friday
Come and be a little lively

Spring is officially here and the olives are blooming and growing. Some of us have olive pollen response so we stay out of the Grove’s. Just because there is so much pollen in the air, we are all overwhelmed but thankful for the expected large harvest.
Olives are wind pollinated and because olive oil is the most researched and healthiest oil it also means that the pollen is equally healthy. The bees LOVE the pollen and benefit from the health benefits. They make honey for us! Olive blossom and wildflower.

The roses are blooming in profusion.

And we decorate the Visitor Center with all the amazing blooms of our 30 roses. Mr. Lincoln is the most fragrant. Violets Pride is intensely purple and sweet smelling. Frida Kahlo is a stunning multi-color rose that looks like one of her paintings. Julia Child is a lovely cream yellow. Hotel California is bright yellow – like California. Sally Holmes is a lovely cream peach/white with a profusion of huge blooms. Then there are the special two in front, Lark Ascending and Lady of Shallot.

There are many things to do in the Grove
